With roughly a year and a half left to go before the UK leaves the European Union, the UK Insurance industry has stepped up its preparations for the transitional and post Brexit period. A group of the UK’s prominent insurance companies including the London Market Group have proposed a free trade agreement with the EU.
The proposal lays out a mutually beneficial method for doing business during the transition period and into the future. By doing so, the insurance industry hopes to minimise any disruption to customers on both sides, caused by the UK leaving the EU.
