The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has released its 2018-2019 business plan. The plan outlines its key areas of focus for the coming year. At the top of its list is the UK withdrawal from the European Union.

It has identified seven areas that it believes have the potential to cause problems. Those areas are as follows: Company culture and governance; The high cost of credit; Financial crime; Data security; Innovation; Fair treatment of consumers; Long-Term savings.
