Breakdown insurance
In the event that a vehicle suffers a mechanical or electrical failure, rendering the vehicle immobile, we will arrange to send roadside assistance to the scene of the Breakdown and arrange to pay call out fees and mileage charges needed to repair or assist with the vehicle.
Whats covered by this policy
- Roadside assistance and repair
- Local vehicle recovery to nearest garage within 25 miles of breakdown.
- National recovery home within territorial limits.
- Any Breakdown assistance within 72 hours of purchase unless the client has had continuous like-for-like cover under a previous Breakdown policy.
- Any Electrical or Non-Start issues reported within the first 30 days.
- Any Claims reported within the first 30 days from the policy start date where no proof of use of the vehicle can be provided.
- Vehicles aged 15 years or older.
- Vehicles not registered with us.
- Assistance following an accident, theft or vandalism.
- Any claims relating to the following:
- Vehicles exceeding 3,500kg (3.5 tonnes) in weight.
- Vehicles more than: 5.18 metres (17 Feet) long, 1.95 metres (6 feet 3 inches) wide and 2.44 metres (8 Feet) height.
