Courtesy car insurance is a convenient, add-on to a Primary Motor Policy, designed to help motorists get back on the road as quickly as possible when their vehicle is out of action.
Whats covered by this policy
- Our Courtesy Car Insurance policy will pay for a hire vehicle following an incident during which the client is unable to use the vehicle. (up to the limits set within the policy.)
- We will pay the vehicle hire costs up to the indemnity limit, or until the client can drive their vehicle again, whichever condition is met first. This policy will apply following a theft, attempted theft, fire, or vandalism, fault claim or total loss which makes the vehicle unfit to drive under the Primary Insurance Policy.
- Any claim reported to us which is more than 24 hours after the incident date.
- Any costs incurred before acceptance of claim.
- Any claim following an insured incident which happens during the first 72 hours from the cover.
- Any claim that arises from the unlawful use of drink or drugs.
- Any claim that arises following a breakdown of vehicle.
- Any hire vehicle not authorizer or instructed by us.
