Misfuelling insurance
Accidentally misfuelling a vehicle with incorrect fuel can cause irreparable damage to a motor engine. Our Misfuelling policy provides cover for draining and refuelling a client’s vehicle.
Whats covered by this policy
- Drainage and flushing of the fuel tank.
- Replenishing the fuel tank with 10 litres of fuel.
- Claims relating to Misfuelling which occurred before the policy was taken out.
- Delays or failures to deliver service to a client as a result of extraordinary events or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.
- Mechanical or component damage to your vehicle.
- Claims caused as a result of foreign matter entering the fuel system other than diesel or petroleum.
- The cost of hiring an alternative vehicle in the event of mechanical or component damage caused by misfuelling.
- Any costs that are incurred before we accept the claim.
- Misfuelling which took place outside of the Territorial Limits.
- Any claim that arises from unlawful use of drink or drugs.
